Yesterday night I and my daughter were roaming in the garden for our night dinner. For the past few days this has become a practice as to come out and eat dinner. We talk a lot during this time. Talk about Moon, Stars, sing some songs, blow bubbles etc.

I asked her about her School. She had just started going to school, to be precise this is her third week. She was in a good mood and was talking a lot. As I asked her in English, she tried to reply back in English. This is what she said.

“Vineeba, Aryan, Dheerender .. Crying …”

“ Anju downstairs, Ammamma came “

“ Anju flew away” …….

After thinking for sometime ..

“ Here … “

This is what she meant..

“Vineeba, Aryan, Dheerender .. Crying …”
In the school, vineeba, Aryan, dheerendar etc were crying.

“ Anju downstairs, Ammamma came “
As her ammamma came to pick her up, she came downstairs. (Her class is in the first floor)

“ Anju flew away” …….
Anju left the school and came back

After thinking for sometime ..

“ Here … “
To our home.   :)

Amazed at the way they form words and conveying the information. She is exposed to english only after she started going to school. And she was able to convey this much information within this short duration.
